MOGRT Setup

Captioneer Templates

The Select Mogrt tab loads .mogrts from selected folders.

Captioneer automatically installs .mogrts to Premiere Pro's Local Templates folder. You can install custom .mogrts to this same folder or add custom folders with Folder Selection.

Install Motion Graphic Templates

Drag + drop .mogrts onto the Graphics Templates "Browse" tab to install them into the Local Templates folder. Or click on the Install icon in the Graphics Templates panel.

Local Templates folder

You may also install .mogrt files to the Local Templates folder via the Windows Explorer or the Finder.

This folder is in a hidden directory so you need to enable "View Hidden Files".

Windows

C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Motion Graphics Templates\

View Hidden Files: File Explorer > View > Show > Hidden items

Mac

~/Users/*username*/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Motion Graphics Templates/

View Hidden Files: Finder > ⌘ + ⇧ + .
