Reset Extension

If you are experiencing login issues, you can reset Captioneer by clearing Settings. This can help with:

  • Login issues

  • Early termination of Trial

  • Switch from aescripts to LemonSqueezy

  • Switch from LemonSqueezy to aescripts

  • MOGRT / Font sync issues

How to Reset Captioneer

Windows

Quit Premiere Pro and navigate to this file path. You must enable "View Hidden Files".

C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Captioneer\

View Hidden Files: File Explorer > View > Show > Hidden items

Mac

Quit Premiere Pro and navigate to this file path. You must enable "View Hidden Files".

~/Users/*username*/Library/Application Support/Captioneer/

View Hidden Files: Finder > ⌘ + ⇧ + .


  1. Delete this entire "Captioneer" folder.

  2. Reopen Premiere Pro and then Window > Extensions > Captioneer.
